The baby shower yesterday was a success. The mamma-to-be was completely surprised. It is her second baby and second boy so she doesn't need anything but I think every baby deserves a celebration. All the kids (5 boys and 1 girl) had a great time. We played inside, ate lunch and then went outside to play on the swing set. It was a huge hit. We had our first accident when Jonah walked in front of the glider and was knocked over. He is now sporting a couple of new bruises. You would think he would have learned his lesson but about 5 minutes later he headed back and told me he was going to do it again. I didn't get to him in time and he got hit again. When I asked him why he did after he knew it hurt the first time his response was that his Boo Roo (his kangaroo ice pack) would make him all better. This is a recurring theme when we talk about how something is dangerous and could hurt him. He says that medicine and his Boo Roo will make him feel better. One reason why those backpack leashes aren't totally crazy.

Here are a few of the kids on the swing set.

"Curious George" cupcakes. They were banana bread with peanut butter frosting. I can't claim the cupcakes but I did make the little name topper.

All 6 of the kids in one picture and the 3 pregnant women.
