Our weekend

We had a great weekend with beautiful weather. Saturday evening we went to a Mariners game. Jonah was excited about going but didn't actually watch any of the game. He was too excited about the people walking around selling food and drinks. Every time he spotted a vendor he would shout "I want that!". He did really well sitting through the game and really liked when they would play music. They played Take Me Out to the Ballgame and he got the biggest smile on his face and said they were playing his song. On Sunday afternoon we went to the beach. I think the forecast said it was supposed to be a high of 74 (which is the highest it has been so far this summer) and the sun was out and it was wonderful. During Jonah's nap we finished the swing set except for the monkey bars but they're too tall for Jonah anyway. I didn't get any pictures but I will. We had him play on it for a while but then it was dinner and bath time. We're having a baby shower at our house tomorrow so I need to go shampoo the carpets and clean like crazy while Jonah is at preschool. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Friday afternoon he fell asleep in his closet. The door now has a lock on it but that hasn't stopped him from playing for hours when he is supposed to be sleeping. Now he pulls the curtains and blinds and looks out the window.

Having a pre-game hot dog.

Eating garlic fries during the game. He must have eaten 3/4 of the basket. He also consumed most of the lemonade.

At the beach. I got that hat for him last summer to wear this year. Sadly his head grew too much and it doesn't fit. It doesn't stop me from trying to put it on him though. Gymboree needs to come out with another whale line for bigger kids.
