4 months

This post is really late but I'm finally getting around to it and before the boys are 5 months. They're not in matching outfits but they were both awake and not crying. You can see the differences in the boys builds in this picture. Simon has his fingers in his mouth which is true to life.

At his 4 month appointment he weighed 12 lbs 14 oz and was 24 inches long. Both boys are now on the growth charts in height, weight, and head circumference.

Has become very vocal and notices and tries to talk to Simon

Has regular nap times and puts himself to sleep

His cradle cap has cleared up but he still scratches his head

He loves to smile and starts as soon as he wakes up

He drools a lot. Jonah's first teeth came in around this age

I'm not sure how much he weighed at his 4 month appointment because they put Elliott's stats on his paper. I do remember that he was just over 13 lbs and was 23.6 inches long.

He coos but is generally a much quieter baby than his brother

Loves to suck on his fingers and grabs his lovey, blanket or burp cloth and pulls it up to his face when he's tired

Still hates tummy time but his pediatrician wasn't concerned about this because he has the ability to lift his head he just chooses not to

Has become difficult to get to sleep and thinks he needs nursed to sleep every night. Midnight is still his favorite time to play

Received the official diagnosis of eczema and now has hydrocortisone cream for spots on his head, back, and arms
