11 months

I took these pictures at the end of June but am just now getting around to posting them.

Elliott

At 11 months Elliott has 4 teeth, 2 on the bottom and 2 on the top. He weighs just over 18 lbs and is wearing 12 month clothes. He got a later start than his brother but has started crawling and hasn't looked back. He will get up on his hands and knees and then drop to his stomach to crawl. He is really fast and his favorite thing to do is crawl over Simon or just crawl on top of him and hang out. He sleeps all night and still loves having his back rubbed when I put him in his crib. He sat up for the first time today. Elliott loves to eat and is much neater than Simon. He has become quite attached to me and if there is anyone else around he wants me to hold him. He was not a fan of the fireworks. I nursed him and covered his ears throughout so he wouldn't be crying but he still whined.

Simon

At 11 months Simon has 2 teeth on the bottom and 1 almost ready to come down on the top. He was sleeping through the night until a couple of weeks ago and then he started to have a middle of the night wake up that I'm assuming is because of the new teeth. Even when he can barely keep his eyes open he protests being put in his crib but is usually over it within 10 minutes. He is sweet and gives kisses. He is very smart and spends a lot of time figuring out stacking and how things fit into other things. He watched me once and now knows how to put letters into the Leapfrog fridge phonics magnet. He sat up for the first time this morning. I walked by his room and saw him laying in his crib. I got Jonah up and came back to find him sitting. We walked downstairs and announced to Elliott that Simon had sat up by himself and right then Elliott decided to do it for the first time too.  The boys fight over a plastic shovel all day long. Elliott is usually the victor and Simon cries. Then Elliott usually hits him with the shovel.

And now for the outtakes because those are sometimes better than the good pictures.
